The Mission

The Mission
Call to Missions
The Lord laid overseas ministry on my heart in 2020. I graduated from Cedarville University with a major in Early Childhood Education and minors in Spanish and Bible in the spring of 2022. As I prayed about what was next for me, God led me to Las Palmas Christian School in the Dominican Republic. I am now serving as the second grade teacher at Las Palmas.
Las Palmas
Las Palmas Christian School is a bilingual Christian school in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Our goal at Las Palmas is to instill biblical values into each student and help them become agents of change in their communities and throughout their world. Students can be seen around campus participating in Bible classes, chapels, and daily devotionals. They are taught every subject from a biblical worldview from the time they are in preschool until they graduate from high school. God is using Las Palmas to draw not only students, but whole families to Himself. We praise God for the work He is doing through our school.
DR Vision
Las Palmas Christian School is just one of many ministries that make up the DR Vision. DR Vision is a group of ministries that are working together to spread the Gospel throughout the Dominican Republic. In addition to Las Palmas, DR Vision includes Mercy Workshop (women's rescue ministry), Lifehouse Girl's Home, Gracia y Verdad (sports ministry), SEMCA (seminary), and multiple local churches. DR Vision was built on the idea that the most effective missions work is accomplished in the context of a team. Each member of the team is able to use their unique strengths and spiritual gifts to serve in ministry. Together we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ here in the DR.
